What is a Carrot?
Carrots are a type of root vegetable that is typically bright orange, although there are varieties of carrots that are white, purple, or yellow. Carrot plants, which are variable biennial plants, grow up to 1-meter tall and are harvested for the taproot, which is the bright orange body of the carrot that grows beneath the surface of the soil. Skin Health: the vitamin and antioxidants in carrots help product the skin from sun damage stemming from its harmful UV rays. Vitamin A also helps maintain the proper amount of hydration within the skin, hair and nails while also preventing premature wrinkles.
